Peachtree City Dog Park Association Meeting Minutes
April 19, 2007
The monthly membership meeting of the Peachtree City Dog Park Association was held at 7:36 PM on April 19, 2007. New
The President, Betsy Stookey, informed the members she had met with the Director of Leisure Services, and they will work with the city to aid with the walkway.
The Vice-President, Carol Bryant, stated she had met with committee chairs and discussed new ways to gain members, raise funds, etc.
The Secretary, Christopher Trauco, read the minutes from the previous meetings. A motion was set forth to approve the minutes. The minutes were approved.
The Treasurer, Randy Lasante, reviewed the PTC Dog Park’s financial status, and informed the group, that once the shirts came in the vendor balance would be $2,226.
Jill Howard Church handed out samples of the new brochures, and stated 1200 had been ordered. Also it was stated she is currently working on publicity for the golf tournament, and handed out a flyer. All money for the golf tournament is asked to be turned in by May 1st, 2007.
A meeting was also held with the committee chairs. It was brought up that new members are needed to serve on committees.
Steve Franczyk stated he had met with Scott Christopher, and the city is ready to spread the mulch in the future. It was also stated that the city will be spraying herbicide to deal with the new weeds, and a warning sign will be posted. The idea for new poop stations was also briefly discussed.
The members were informed that new t-shirts will be shipped tom0rrow.
The idea to have a tennis tournament was also briefly discussed.
The former treasurer of the Peachtree City Dog Park Association has resigned. A motion was set forth to accept his resignation, and the motion was seconded.
A motion was set forth to nominate Susan Blair. The nomination was seconded.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:36 PM.
